find good Anti Aging Skin

We will look at Anti Aging Skin a little more in-depth.

A few months ago a friend mentioned to me that there has been some new "revolutionary break through" to obtain superior skin care products. He also added, "they utilize ethical stem cell research technology." I asked, "what makes this discovery different?" and what makes them "ethical?"

Naturally I was interested in anything that was a "break through" or "revolutionary" so I started doing my homework. Personally, I have steered away from anything with stem cells because it has been a very emotionally charged issue and debate. To find out that not all stem cells are harvested from embryos, fetal tissue, etc was new to me. I did know there were ways of harvesting and then reintroducing the stem cells back into your own body, but I must admit I was very unaware and naive to the many different methods of research going on.

So to my pleasant surprise I found that there has been much research with the post birth umbilical cord and placenta. This is becoming known as ethical stem cell research. The Placenta is the tissue that attaches the fetus to the wall of the uterus while it is developing. The placenta and the umbilical cord both have a very high density of nutrient dense stem cells and tissues. It makes sense that the life line to the baby is the most densely nourished tissue available. The researchers I discovered preferred this type of tissue because of this. It has been said that the US is very far behind on research because there has not been a differentiation of the embryonic and the placental or umbilical research. Ultimately the "ethical" research is based only on materials that are going to be discarded after the birth.

After a couple weeks I was able to obtain a product using these different methods and was very happy with the results. In a cosmetic industry that is so full of chemicals and deception it is so pleasant to find there is new hope on the horizon. My experience with the skin care industry has left a less then savory taste in my mouth on how exaggeration and hype are so prevalent. Expensive packaging seems to be a mask at times for inferior products, yet uneducated consumers buy.

We have much more to learn about the technologies that are emerging while remembering the wisdom of the past.
