I spent many years feeling very depressed. I really understand how you feel. Watching others enjoy life while you feel crummy stinks. Know what I mean?
Thankfully I realized I got to control how I run my head - what I think. I discovered I could change my thoughts and feel better instantly.
But I did not start out there. I can guide you on your path to ending depression without drugs. Just do what I did.
I used to keep a daily journal. Okay, I have been writer since the age of eight. I love to write so that was easy for me. I say, "I write to see what I am
thinking."
True. I would write journal entries without taking my pen off the paper or my fingers off the keyboard (when using the computer). The words flowed on to
the paper without any conscious effort on my part.
So I felt as though my subconscious mind was telling me exactly what it was thinking and doing. That knowledge allowed me to see what thoughts were
hurting me and which moved me forward in life.
Pretty simple, when you stop and think about it, right? Stop thinking thoughts that cause pain and think only thoughts that leave you feeling good.
I created a new focus for my life. I saw everything from a different perspective. Since we always see what we expect to see and what we accept to see my
world changed from dingy gray to bright sunshine
My friends started calling me an optimist who sees the bright side of every situation. Not bad for someone who used to see the darkness all around, huh?
Thing is, you can do it just as easily as I did - if you choose to.
